  This is the WORST doctor's office I have ever been to! When you walk in you're overwhelmed by the number of people waiting to be seen. Once you make it to the front desk the rudeness is, well, I don't have words to explain how bad it is! Then you will wait a minimum of 2 hours before you see the doctor and be lucky if there is a place to sit while you wait! The doctor was nice during the exam/consult, even joking sometimes. After I saw him I scheduled my follow up appointment and then the scheduler wanted me to schedule a set of three epidural injections as well. I told her I wasn't ready at that time to schedule any of those procedures because I just had one less than a month ago and had a bad experience. I would let them know when I was ready to proceed with that part of my treatment. Once I said that, the red flags where raised and I was called back to see the doctor as if I were a child in grade school being called into the principal's office. He berated (sp?) me because "if I wasn't going to do anything for him then he wouldn't do anything (meaning prescribe my medication) for me." Babbling on in a very whiny child like voice. He calmed down once I told him I wasn't happy about it but I would go ahead and schedule the procedures. I told him during my consult that I had just had an injection less than a month ago from a different physician and had a horrible time, which is why I went to him. He couldn't have cared less! To back up just a little bit, initially after you finish seeing the doctor (and he does spend the appropriate amount of time with you) you are sent back out to the waiting room and wait around for another hour to be called up to the desk to re-schedule and get your script refills. My appointment was at 11am. I did not leave that office until 4pm. A lot of the patients were complaining about the wait. A "regular" told me that past patients have waited up to 7 hours to see Dr. Nelson. Overall, I would give Dr. Edward I Nelson's office the poorest, lowest, most deaminingist rating anyone could ever give!!!! Now I'm once again searching for a true physician to manage my care and hope that I find one before I have to spend one more hellacious day in that office. HELL HOLE!!!!!!
